The main type of vehicle speed competitions are now linear road races. Such races are normally held at 100, 200 and 500 km, with the distance traversed in two directions with a twist.  Special record races held at distances of 1, 5 and 10 km from the start of the course and at distances of 1, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 km from standing start.  All distances from the start of the course and distance of 1 km from the standing start in two directions, and the student's record speed is determined by the average time of passing the distance in both directions. Between the start of the arrival in one direction and finish in the other direction must pass to kilometer distance no more than 10 minutes. And for the 5 - and 10-kilometer distance not more than 20 minutes.  Student's record distance and adjacent areas to disperse the 100 m long on each side should have a slope of the road more than 1%.
